NEW BOOK: Roadmap To Success

Nozer Buchia - New Book - "Roadmap To Success" - Co-authoed with Ken Blanchard and Deepak Chopra

My latest book, “Roadmap to Success” is a collection of literary works (an anthology) and has been co-authored with Dr. Ken Blanchard and Dr. Deepak Chopra. In this book, I emphasize the fact that success is always within one’s reach, as long as one has the dedication, determination and the drive to get there. The reader is encouraged to challenge the way it has always been done, and is guided along the path to success.

Success, in my opinion, is measured by the strength of your desire; it is measured by the size of your dreams and by how you handle disappointments along the way. That is what I firmly believe.

Most importantly in life and in business, when we lose our way, it is not typically because we lose sight of the goal, or that we lose sight of the destination or even our strategy. It is because we have no roadmap to get there.

You need to constantly ask for directions along the way and find role models and mentors that can help guide you. You need to stop occasionally and evaluate your path, and most certainly the speed with which you are travelling. I mean these are the things that have helped me define my own success.

We all have a choice; a choice every single day as to what we’re going to do with our life, and where we are going to take it. If you follow your passion and your dreams, you’ll be amazed at how far it can actually take you… all you need to do is to believe in yourself.

Never be afraid to create your own opportunities, for successful people always know where they are going, and where they’re going to end up. And if you need help along the way, just ask. Remember, you are your own driving engine and you are your own brake. The only person that can stop you from achieving anything in life is… you!

Success is not magical, nor is it earned overnight. It is a tedious process that you engage in, day after day. Your level of success is directly proportionate to your tolerance to risk, your passion to succeed, and your never-give-up attitude.

I am entirely convinced that the day you develop clear intentions and decide firmly in your mind to set our own course is the day you start creating your own roadmap to success.

BOOK EXCERPT: PREFACE

Nozer Buchia Book Excerpt - Preface

The book you are holding is the result of countless mistakes and umpteen errors that I have committed in life and in the world of business. Each time that I thought I had finally mastered the recipe for success, something unexpected happened; something that I had not thought of, something that I had never planned. And once again, success eluded me!

I would get that burst of energy repeatedly, to try that one more time, but then it all went back to status quo. I was scared. I desperately wanted to succeed, but was very afraid that I might fail…… again. What if I was not destined to be an Entrepreneur? What would people say? What would they think of me? I started doubting my potential, my capability and my ability to get the job done. I started analyzing my chances of success before I had even begun.

But then I realized and experienced the fact that success and failure are merely a frame of mind. If you think you are beaten; you are. You need to believe in yourself if you want to achieve anything in life.

This gap between success and failure provoked this book.

While this book is about mistakes and failures, it is also about how to be a winner. It draws on my years of experience as an Entrepreneur and the various lessons that I learned along the way. The pages of this book will demystify for you, why some people always succeed while others merely just fail.

You will understand how negative habits can be disastrous to your success and how failure can be used to turn things around. This book will demonstrate to you that the Entrepreneur normally stands alone in this wicked world of business, and if not careful, can fail with an irrecoverable chance for success.

I have drawn a ton of inspiration from people along the way that have taught me to be more humble than I actually thought I was. I have learned that to be on the right track, one must first have a defined track to be on. The ultimate lesson that I learnt is very clear; believe very passionately in the things that you do, and success will soon follow.

This book is not just for dilettantes, nor even just for the intellectually curious. It is not even written just for the Entrepreneur that is simply beginning.

It is a handbook for those that want to lead and are not merely content to follow. It is for people that want to make a difference. It is for the ones that are passionate to succeed. It is a path for those that want to rewrite the rules of the game and are not afraid to challenge the way it has always been done. ‘Why Entrepreneurs Really Fail’, is the missing link between your yearning for success and your attainment of success.

MISSING ‘LINK’

Nozer Buchia's Book is The Missing 'Link' for Entrepreneurs“Why Entrepreneurs Really Fail” is the missing link between your yearning for success and your attainment of success. While this book is about mistakes and failures, it is also about how to be a winner.

It will demonstrate to you that the Entrepreneur normally stands alone in this wicked world of business and if not careful, can fail with an irrecoverable chance of success.

The Entrepreneur’s position is not a team sport, for the Entrepreneur must take final responsibility for leading the enterprise.

This book is the result of countless mistakes and umpteen errors that I have committed in life and in the world of business. As I have learned, in this wicked world of business, you have to pay your dues before the world allows you to feel good about yourself and achieve greatness.

I have commenced work on my second book already… stay tuned!

CONDITIONED TO FAIL?

Nozer Buchia Discusses If We Are Conditioned To FailEntrepreneurs fail because they are conditioned to accept failure.

When something goes wrong, the first thing an Entrepreneur does is blame his fate and destiny and commence that painful search for an alternative. We tend to give up too easily.

One of the main reasons for this is that Entrepreneurs do not know what to do when fear grips their lives and their business. They immediately react and take comfort in the fact that they are not cut-out to be in business for themselves.

It is my desire to educate people that want to be in business for themselves and show them how they can actually succeed. It is all about education and support.

Life does not go to the bigger or stronger man but it goes to the one who believes he can.  I have seen many people fail only because they do not know what to do next.

Entrepreneurship, in my opinion, will solve many of the world’s problems, for it will rejuvenate the desire of being self sufficient.

Remember, nations have been built on courage, desire and opportunity.

SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION

Nozer Buchia Discusses Successful Completion

I can comprehend the feeling Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing must have had when they first became conscious of the fact that they had successfully scaled the world’s tallest mountain peak and that too with primitive ice climbing equipment and ropes.

It is simply fascinating to suddenly realize the successful completion of your first book. Today I think of my Mom and thank her for instilling that penmanship in me, in spite of my protests to do otherwise. “The pen is mightier than the sword,” she would say, “and you have the gift, you write well… learn to develop it.”

I started writing when I was very young… quotes, poems, letters, articles… anything where I could simply portray my thoughts. I read my creation again and again and kept improving on it as I went along. It felt good for I was creative. I would read it over and over again to my Dad and Mom who would, without fail, encourage me to never give up my desire to express my thoughts.

Decades later life has taught me that sharing your thoughts with another not only helps the other, but also yourself. It brings clarity and enables you to see things from a different optic.

I am committed to sharing my experiences and the lessons learned in life and in the world of business.

EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION

Learn Effective Communication from Nozer Buchia

In my opinion, effective communication is music to the deaf and vision to the blind.

A speaker’s job is not an easy one for he needs to hold the curiosity and attention of the audience for a fairly long time. Since a speaker is on the other side of the podium, it is automatically assumed that he knows more than the listeners. Therefore preparation is as important as content.

Humor is a critical component of a speaker’s arsenal for then and only then can he create that ambiance of wisdom through his power of speech and his personal experiences. It is also important to understand that the way a message is delivered is as important as the actual message itself.

And being on stage for over four decades, has certainly taught me that the audience decides within the first 10 minutes whether they will like the speaker or not.

As a speaker, I have learned that the art of speaking is critical and the message is invaluable. My experiences in the corporate and business world have allowed me to enlighten my audiences, about real life successes, mistakes and failures, and their ultimate recovery process.
